What is Sr-22 insurance?

In Vancouver Washington, your driver’s license could be suspended or revoked for a number of reasons such as excessive driver points, major moving violations such as DWI, DUI, and reckless driving, or outstanding traffic tickets. If your driver’s license has been suspended you will need to obtain a special type of insurance (SR22) in order for your license to be reinstated. Vern Fonk is Vancouver's SR-22 auto insurance experts! SR-22 is a type of high-risk insurance that carries a specific set of conditions not found in other types of auto insurance policies.

With an SR-22, Vern Fonk must certify coverage to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in Vancouver Washington. Under state law, we must notify the DMV if the policy is changed, canceled by you, terminated, or lapses. If you no longer own a car, and still need SR-22 insurance, you will need to get a non-owner SR-22 policy. Non-owner SR-22 policies are designed for individuals that do not own a vehicle, but need auto insurance in order for their privileges to be reinstated.
